Cochrane Foundation Awards $60,000 to 17 local recipients for their charitable work

The Cochrane Foundation awarded 14 organizations and 3 graduate students a total of $60,000 in grants on March 29, 2018. The deserving recipients include: Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC), Bighill Creek Preservation Society, Bow Valley Habitat Development, Boys and Girls Club Cochrane, Cochrane Activettes Food Bank, Cochrane and Area Humane Society, Cochrane and District Agricultural Society, Cochrane Bethany Family Council, Cochrane Historical and Archival Preservation Society, Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation, Lions Club of Cochrane – Cochrane Lions Event Centre, Seniors on the Bow ,Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre, Variety Children’s Charity of Alberta, and scholarship awardees: Karyssa Brown,  Thomas Phillips, and Jeff Lees.
