MyTcoolsummerOn April 19, 2014, MyT, ridden by Lynn Edge (her owner) scored 73 to win the $5000 Novice Horse, Non Pro division of the ACHA cutting held at the Silver Slate Arena near Stavely Alberta. The win was worth $616.64. Then on April 20th, Guy Heintz rode MyT in the $5000 Novice Horse Open Division scoring a very fine score of 75 to win that class, worth $672. This past May long weekend, Lynn and MyT won another $600 at Silver Slate! This is a great start to the season and big step to our objective of surpassing last year’s winnings of $6000. A number of businesses in Cochrane will be matching MyT’s winnings through donations and sponsorship to the Cochrane Foundation. Many thanks to Philco Farms (PBA Land Development) for their generous matching support last year! Watch the Cochrane Eagle for monthly updates on MyT’s progress. Follow her on Facebook and Twitter. A win for MyT is a win for Cochrane!
